Built from experience inside the organizations we serve.
Who We Are
Wabash Public Affairs was founded by professionals with deep experience inside the organ procurement and transplant ecosystem. We started this firm because we saw a consistent gap: when organizations in this space needed outside communications, public affairs, or marketing support, the firms they turned to did not understand the industry well enough to deliver meaningful results. We bring that understanding to every client relationship.
Mark brings extensive experience in public affairs, communications, and government relations in healthcare and the nonprofit sector. He currently serves as Director of Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs at one of the nation’s leading organ procurement organizations, where he leads a department responsible for the organization’s public positioning, crisis communications, government affairs, stakeholder engagement, and brand strategy.
In this role, Mark serves as the organization’s primary spokesperson and manages communications through periods of significant national scrutiny of the organ procurement industry, including Congressional oversight, regulatory action, and investigative media coverage. He leads legislative strategy across multiple state legislative sessions, directs the organization’s government affairs function, and has developed multi-track strategic frameworks addressing hospital partnership engagement, funeral director relations, policy safeguards, and proactive public positioning.
Mark holds a Master of Public Health and has served as president of the Public Relations Society of America’s Hoosier Chapter. He is based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
