Built from experience inside the organizations we serve.
Who We Are
Wabash Public Affairs was built on a simple premise: the organizations doing the most important work in healthcare deserve communications counsel from people who actually understand their world. When organizations in the transplant and donation space need outside support, the firms they turn to rarely understand the regulatory environment, the stakeholder dynamics, or the public attitudes that shape this industry. That is the gap Wabash was built to fill.
Mark brings extensive experience in public affairs, communications, and government relations in healthcare and the nonprofit sector. He currently serves as Director of Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs at one of the nation’s leading organ procurement organizations, where he leads a department responsible for the organization’s public positioning, crisis communications, government affairs, stakeholder engagement, and brand strategy.
In this role, Mark serves as the organization’s primary spokesperson and manages communications through periods of significant national scrutiny of the organ procurement industry, including Congressional oversight, regulatory action, and investigative media coverage. He leads legislative strategy across multiple state legislative sessions, directs the organization’s government affairs function, and has developed multi-track strategic frameworks addressing hospital partnership engagement, funeral director relations, policy safeguards, and proactive public positioning.
Mark holds a Master of Public Health, has served as president of the Public Relations Society of America’s Hoosier Chapter, and serves as a PRSA Assembly Delegate. He is based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
